Activist denounces Hong Kong’s new stricter national security bill | AP News

A Hong Kong activist based in the UK has denounced a new national security bill in the territory, saying the law, passed unanimously by Hong Kong lawmakers, would serve to further suppress dissent. Speaking to British broadcaster Sky News, Nathan Law, a former Hong Kong legislator, said that “one country, two systems has gone” and that the former British colony has lost its liberal and international status.
