For some people, the scarier the better when it comes to Halloween decorations. There are plenty of bloody zombies and monsters with glowing eyes and sound effects.

Halloween pumpkins don’t have to end up in the landfill. Before throwing that jack-o’-lantern into the trash, consider ways to make them even more useful.

Trick-or-treating is off limits in a suburban Detroit neighborhood. Why? Well, there’s nothing sweet about bringing home a cockroach.

Halloween treats have a tricky problem: plastic packaging that’s difficult to recycle.
